About Vishay BC Components

BCcomponents Holdings B.V., headquartered in Eindhoven, Netherlands, was established in January 1999 when Philips divested its passive-components operations, combining them with the Beyschlag and Centralab businesses — the source of the "Beyschlag Centralab components" name (Vishay — BCcomponents brand); (EE Times — Vishay to acquire BCcomponents). Vishay acquired the company in December 2002, and the brand covers leaded and surface-mount resistors, ceramic, film and aluminum capacitors, trimmers and potentiometers, thermistors and varistors (Vishay — BCcomponents brand)
