Precision analog.
Sourced.

Hybrid Electronics sources precision analog ICs on allocation — op-amps, ADCs, DACs, voltage references, instrumentation amps, and comparators — from TI, ADI (including legacy Linear Technology and Maxim lines), Renesas, and Microchip for industrial, medical, defense, and test-and-measurement programs.

The 2026 picture

The 2026 precision analog IC shortage in one paragraph.

Precision analog is not the AI story — the demand pressure comes from a longer, less visible tail: instrumentation, medical devices, industrial process control, and test-and-measurement all rebuilt inventory positions in 2025 into a 2026 wafer capacity constraint. TI, Analog Devices, Renesas, and Microchip reintroduced formal allocation across mainstream op-amp, ADC, DAC, and reference lines through Q1 2026.

26–40 week lead times on industrial and medical grades, longer on hi-rel and defense. We source against Tier 1 excess and OEM cancellations for the exact P/N your design calls out — precision analog is not a place for cross-references.

OP-AMP · INSTRUMENTATION · COMPARATOR

Op-amp & instrumentation amplifier sourcing.

StatusAllocation across TI OPA and ADI LT-series op-amps
Lead time26–40 weeks on high-precision parts
PricingBook pricing holding · limited spot

Mainstream commercial op-amps (JFET-input, low-noise, low-input-bias) and the LT-series precision line (now ADI) are the most-quoted parts in this category. Instrumentation amps (INA, AD8xxx) and comparators are on the same allocation.

We source against exact P/N — package (SOIC, MSOP, TSSOP), temperature grade, and RoHS status all matter for precision analog and we don't substitute without your engineering approval.

Common part families we source

  • OPA192 · OPA189 · OPA202 (TI precision)
  • LT1028 · LT1013 · LT1078 (ADI legacy Linear)
  • AD8629 · AD8676 · AD8628 (ADI CMOS)
  • INA333 · INA141 · INA828 (instrumentation)
  • LMV321 · LMP7715 (commercial low-cost)
  • TLV27L2 · TLV9002 (nano-power)
SAR ADC · Σ-Δ ADC · DAC · REFERENCE

ADC, DAC & voltage reference sourcing.

StatusAllocation on 16-bit+ ADCs and precision DACs
Lead time30–52 weeks on high-resolution grades
PricingContract holds · industrial spot rising

16-bit and higher SAR ADCs (AD4xxx, ADS9xxx), Σ-Δ ADCs (ADS12xx, LTC24xx), and precision DACs (AD5xxx, DAC81xxx) are all on formal allocation. Voltage references (REF19xx, LTC6655) similar.

We source against OEM excess for programs where a single reference or ADC failure would require a full requal — precision analog qualification cycles are expensive, and re-sourcing the exact P/N is cheaper than a redesign nine times out of ten.

Common part families we source

  • AD4030 · AD4116 · AD4696 (ADI SAR ADC)
  • ADS9224 · ADS131M08 (TI SAR / Σ-Δ)
  • LTC2380 · LTC2508 (ADI 24-bit)
  • AD5686 · AD5763 · DAC81404 (precision DAC)
  • REF193 · REF5025 · LTC6655 (references)
  • AD7768 · AD7124 (Σ-Δ industrial)
Why buyers come to Hybrid

What we bring to a shortage list.

  • 20+ years in the channelHybrid's relationships across OEM excess, Tier 1 excess, and legitimate spot channel are what turn a "no stock anywhere" shortage list into a working RFQ.
  • Authenticity and traceabilityManufacturer traceability, date code and country-of-origin documentation, and third-party testing available on request. No unmarked or refurbished inventory.
  • One business day responseSend us the shortage list and we come back inside one business day with confirmed stock, spot-channel pricing, or a firm lead-time offer.

FAQ

Common questions.

Do you cross-reference or source the exact part?

Exact part. Precision analog cross-referencing is your engineering team's call, not ours. We source the P/N on your BOM against real inventory.

Can you handle medical-grade and hi-rel analog parts?

Yes. Medical-grade AD, ADI, and Maxim parts under long qualification cycles are exactly what our OEM-excess and last-time-buy relationships work well for. Full traceability and manufacturer paperwork on every lot.

Do you source legacy Linear Technology (LT) and Maxim parts?

Yes. LT-series (now ADI) and MAX-prefix (now ADI, Analog Devices acquired Maxim in 2021) parts sourced routinely. We keep those franchise legacy P/Ns exactly.

How does industrial-grade differ from commercial on lead times?

Industrial (-40 to +85°C) and extended-industrial (-40 to +125°C) grades are on the tightest allocation because they qualify for medical, automotive, and instrumentation programs simultaneously. Commercial grades (0 to +70°C) are more available but the P/Ns on your BOM matter.
