About Vishay Beyschlag

Beyschlag was founded in 1931 in Berlin and relocated to Heide, Germany in 1974, becoming a specialist in film resistor technology (Vishay — Beyschlag brand). It formed part of Philips Components until 1999, when Philips divested its passive-components business into BCcomponents, and Vishay acquired BCcomponents in 2002 (Vishay — Beyschlag brand). The brand is best known for thin film MELF resistors, along with thin and thick film chip resistors and carbon film types, including AEC-Q200 qualified precision MELF devices (Vishay press release — precision thin film MELF, 2024)
