About Evox Rifa

Evox Rifa was a Nordic capacitor maker created from Sweden's RIFA (founded 1942, long an Ericsson subsidiary) and Finland's Evox, producing customized film, paper and electrolytic capacitors (Wikipedia — RIFA AB); (EE Times). It added BHC Electrolytics from Aerovox in 2002 and ran plants in Finland, Sweden, the UK, China and Indonesia (Procure International); (EE Times). KEMET acquired the group in 2007 and its PHE/PME/MMK film series continue under KEMET part numbering (Wikipedia — RIFA AB).
