About Arcotronics
Arcotronics Italia S.p.A. was an Italian capacitor manufacturer specializing in plastic film and metallized film capacitors, wet tantalum capacitors, and EMC/RFI filters, with plants in Italy, Germany, the UK, Bulgaria and China (Circuits Assembly). It also built capacitor and battery production machinery (IBS Electronics). KEMET purchased the company in 2007 for about $24 million, folding the film-capacitor lines into its portfolio (Evertiq).
