ERNI Electronics GmbH & Co. KG is a connector manufacturer based in Adelberg, Germany, established in 1956 as part of the Swiss ERNI group. The company designs board-to-board and cable-to-board connectors, backplanes, cable assemblies and complete interconnect systems, including the MicroStac, MicroCon, MicroSpeed, SMC, MicroBridge, MiniBridge and MaxiBridge families and DIN 41612 PCB connectors. Its portfolio covers miniaturised fine-pitch connectors, high-speed interfaces supporting data rates to 25 Gbit/s and power products rated up to 360 A between printed circuit boards. TE Connectivity's takeover of ERNI was announced in the summer of 2021, and the ERNI range is now sold as part of the TE portfolio for factory automation, automotive, medical and industrial applications.
