Distributor of Augat components. Send us your RFQ — we'll match your part numbers to stock or source them.
Augat Incorporated was an American manufacturer of IC sockets, connectors, terminal blocks and other interconnect products, founded in 1946 and headquartered in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The company built its reputation on precision pin-and-socket contacts and interconnection systems for electronic and electrical equipment. Thomas & Betts Corporation acquired Augat in December 1996 in a stock-swap transaction, and Tyco Electronics acquired the Thomas & Betts electronic components operations in July 2000, folding them into the AMP family of interconnect products. Tyco Electronics was renamed TE Connectivity in March 2011, and the Augat name survives only as a legacy product designation.
