About LimX Dynamics
LimX Dynamics (逐际动力) was founded in early 2022 in Shenzhen's Nanshan District by Dr. Zhang Wei (张巍), a control-theory researcher whose academic path spans an undergraduate degree in automatic control from the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), a PhD in electrical engineering from Purdue University, postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley, and a tenured associate professorship at Ohio State University. After returning to China around 2019, Zhang became a tenured professor at SUSTech and led its CLEAR Lab, from which LimX was spun out to commercialize research in legged locomotion, reinforcement learning, whole-body motion planning, and robotic control theory.
