About Voltage Multipliers, Inc.

Voltage Multipliers Incorporated was founded in December 1980 in Visalia, California to design, manufacture, and market high-voltage semiconductor products. As the company's name suggests, VMI began life building high-voltage multipliers — the Cockcroft-Walton and custom multi-stage rectifier stacks used to generate the kilovolt-range DC bias needed by cathode-ray tubes, photomultipliers, X-ray sources, and specialty test equipment.
