About Silicon General
Silicon General, Inc., founded in 1969 in Garden Grove, California, made linear power-management integrated circuits (1990 Silicon General Product Catalog). Its catalog covered regulators, pulse-width-modulation controllers, servo/motor/solenoid drivers, op amps, comparators and voltage references, interface and line driver circuits, transistor and diode arrays, thick-film power hybrids and radiation-hardened linear ICs for military, satellite, disc-drive and industrial power-supply applications (1990 catalog). The company became Linfinity and then part of Microsemi (Procure International).
