Manufacturer profile
Hybrid Electronics sources Panasonic Industry components (formerly Panasonic Industrial Devices / Panasonic Electronic Components) — aluminum electrolytic and polymer-hybrid capacitors (EEE-FT / EEE-FC / EEU-FR / EEH-ZA / OS-CON SEP / SVPD / SEPC / POSCAP), film capacitors (ECW-F / ECH-U / EZP-C DC-link), MLCC (ECJ- / ECHU auto AEC-Q200 / ECAT 150°C), ERJ / ERA / ERG resistors, NAiS & Aromat signal and power relays (DS / DSP / TX / HE / JW), PhotoMOS solid-state relays (AQY / AQV / AQZ), Panasonic rechargeable batteries (NCR18650B / NCR21700A Li-ion, BR / CR coin, HHR NiMH), Grid-EYE thermal arrays, PaPIRs passive-IR sensors, and PAN17xx / PAN9xxx wireless modules — from current-production AEC-Q200 automotive parts to legacy NAiS relays, Aromat FCN / FKN connectors, Sanyo-heritage capacitors, and Matsushita-branded material still stocked in field for locked-BOM industrial builds. Same-day quotes, traceable stock, and OEM-excess sourcing since 1995.
Panasonic Corporation was founded in 1918 by Konosuke Matsushita as Matsushita Electric Housewares Manufacturing Works in Osaka, Japan, and rebranded from Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. to Panasonic Corporation in October 2008. Panasonic Industry Co., Ltd. — the group's electronic-components arm — is headquartered in Kadoma, Osaka, Japan, with roughly 230,000 group employees worldwide. Its component portfolio spans aluminum electrolytic, polymer-hybrid, film, and MLCC capacitors, the OS-CON and POSCAP polymer families, ERJ / ERA / ERG chip and wirewound resistors, the NAiS / Aromat / Panasonic Electric Works signal and power relay franchise, PhotoMOS AQ-series solid-state relays, Panasonic Battery Li-ion, NiMH, and coin-lithium cells, Grid-EYE IR thermal arrays and PaPIRs passive-IR sensors, PAN17xx / PAN9xxx BLE, Wi-Fi, and BT-LE modules, film-based EMI protection, ETQP metal-composite power inductors, and legacy Panasonic-branded discrete MOSFETs and image sensors.
What ships today as "Panasonic" is the consolidation of several component sub-brands Chad's customers still search by name. Panasonic Industry is the current primary component supplier, absorbing the former Panasonic Industrial Devices and Panasonic Electronic Components passive, semi, relay, and connector lines. NAiS / Nais is the older brand for Panasonic Electric Works relays, sensors, and PLCs ("NAiS" and "AROMAT" heritage) and is still called out on many older BOMs. AROMAT was the U.S. marketing name for Panasonic Electric Works pre-2000 (relays, connectors). Panasonic Semiconductor Solutions was largely sold to Nuvoton in 2020, but Panasonic-branded MOSFETs, image sensors, and camera SoCs remain in the field. Panasonic Battery covers rechargeable Li-ion (NCR18650B/BE / NCR21700A cells sold to Tesla), industrial NiMH HHR, alkaline, and BR / CR / ML coin lithium. Panasonic Electric Works Corporation of America is the older U.S. arm for relays. The Sanyo Electric merger (2011) folded Sanyo capacitors and Sanyo semiconductors into Panasonic — many still ship under Panasonic part numbers. Legacy Matsushita-branded parts (pre-2008 rebrand) also remain in stock for long-lifecycle industrial and defense builds.
Hybrid Electronics has channeled excess and legacy Panasonic product since 1995. We support customers who need AEC-Q200 automotive capacitors, resistors, and relays in allocation, NAiS DS / TX signal relays and Aromat FCN / FKN connectors that are still on old BOMs but discontinued from authorized channels, Panasonic Battery NCR18650B, NCR21700A, and BR / CR / ML coin cells for industrial and medical builds, OS-CON SEP / SVPD / SEPC and POSCAP tantalum-replacement polymer capacitors in allocation, Panasonic legacy MOSFETs and image sensors shipped before the 2020 Nuvoton sale, and Sanyo-heritage capacitors and Matsushita-branded parts for locked-BOM industrial and defense customers. Same-day quotes, factory-sealed reels wherever possible, and full traceability documentation on request.

Additional reels available across the full EEE-FT / EEE-FC / EEE-FK / EEU-FR / EEH-ZA aluminum electrolytic range, the complete OS-CON SEP / SVPD / SEPC / SEPF and POSCAP TPB / TPE polymer catalog, the ERJ / ERA thin-film and thick-film chip resistor library, and the full NAiS / Aromat / PhotoMOS relay portfolio — plus legacy Sanyo capacitors, Matsushita-branded parts, Panasonic Semiconductor MN-series MOSFETs, and Aromat FCN / FKN connectors on request. Date codes, factory of manufacture, and full traceability documentation on every quote.
Panasonic rationalizes its component catalog aggressively after each M&A (Sanyo 2011, Nuvoton 2020) and each brand consolidation (Panasonic Electric Works into Panasonic Industry, Aromat / NAiS retirement). Long-lifecycle industrial, medical, defense, and automotive customers often need continued access to material that has moved to end-of-life. Hybrid Electronics sources the following legacy Panasonic families from OEM excess, contract-manufacturer surplus, and traceable secondary channels:
Send an RFQ with quantity, target date code range, and any traceability requirements (COO, MSL, factory sealed, DPAS-rated) — we return same-day availability from stock or an ETA from our sourcing network.
Aluminum electrolytic and polymer-hybrid capacitors (EEE-FT / EEU-FR / EEH-ZA), OS-CON and POSCAP polymer families, ERJ / ERA chip resistors, NAiS DS / TX signal relays and HE / JW power relays, PhotoMOS AQY / AQV / AQZ solid-state relays, and Panasonic Battery NCR18650B / NCR21700A Li-ion cells are our highest-volume Panasonic quote categories. Legacy Aromat FCN / FKN connectors, older Sanyo capacitors, pre-Nuvoton Panasonic MOSFETs and image sensors, and Matsushita-branded material for locked-BOM builds are steady low-volume sourcing lines for medical, defense, and industrial customers.
Yes. When Panasonic MLCC, aluminum electrolytic, OS-CON, or PhotoMOS relay allocation tightens — typically driven by automotive electrification, industrial POL rebuilds, or wide-temp EV-inverter designs — we quote from OEM excess, contract-manufacturer surplus, and traceable secondary channels rather than waiting on a 30+ week authorized-distribution lead time. Include target part number, quantity, date-code window, and any packaging constraints (7in vs 13in reel, ammo pack, bulk) and we return an availability window and quoted price the same business day.
Yes. We regularly source AEC-Q200 Panasonic parts including ECHU auto MLCC, EEE-FT / EEH-ZA AEC-Q200 aluminum-electrolytic and polymer-hybrid capacitors, ERJ-P / ERJ-U auto-grade thin-film resistors, JW / JV automotive relays, AQZ auto-grade PhotoMOS SSRs, NCR21700A auto-grade Li-ion cells, and ETQP metal-composite auto power inductors. Panasonic's Japanese and Malaysian fabs are IATF 16949 certified with PPAP submission on request. Ask us to match a specific date code range, packaging, or termination style on your RFQ.
Yes. We routinely source NAiS DS / DSP / TX signal and HE / JW power relays, Aromat FCN / FKN board-to-board connectors, Sanyo Al-electrolytic and OS-CON capacitors that shipped before the 2011 Panasonic integration, pre-Nuvoton Panasonic MN-series MOSFETs and CIS-series image sensors, and Matsushita-branded parts (pre-2008 rebrand) from OEM excess and CEM surplus. These families are common on locked-BOM industrial, medical, and defense builds where a form-fit-function replacement is not allowed.
Yes when available. Most of our OEM-excess and CEM-surplus Panasonic stock is factory sealed with original date codes and full traceability documentation. For downgraded or partial-reel stock we disclose condition (open reel, tested-pull, refurbished) on the quote. Customers requiring MSL data, COO, DPAS-rated delivery, or full C of C should note that on the RFQ.
Same day for parts in stock — typically within 2 hours during business hours (9am to 6pm ET). Sourced quotes on out-of-stock parts return within 24 to 48 hours with an availability window. Email sales@hybridelectronics.com or call (407) 542-3995 to open an RFQ.
No — we're an independent distributor and excess-inventory buyer sourcing from OEM excess, CEM surplus, and traceable secondary channels since 1995.
