Koa Speer

KOA Speer Electronics, Inc. is the North American manufacturing and sales arm of Japan's KOA Corporation, established in Bradford, Pennsylvania in April 1980. The company supplies surface-mount and leaded resistors, including thick film, thin film chip, shunt and current-sense, wide terminal, high-voltage and surge resistors, together with a broader range of passive components. Its engineering group works directly with customer design teams to develop application-specific passive solutions, and recent additions include the RN73R, RN73H and WN73H thin film series for automotive and industrial use. Parent KOA Corporation, founded in 1940, is a listed Japanese passive component supplier.
