Distributor of Excelitas components. Send us your RFQ — we'll match your part numbers to stock or source them.
Excelitas Technologies Corp. is a Waltham, Massachusetts–based photonics and optoelectronics manufacturer that was formed on November 29, 2010, when the former Illumination and Detection Solutions (IDS) business unit of PerkinElmer was carved out and rebranded as an independent company under Veritas Capital ownership. Excelitas designs and manufactures photonic sensors and light sources for industrial, medical, defense, aerospace, and scientific markets — including silicon and InGaAs photodiodes, avalanche photodiodes (APDs), single-photon counting modules, xenon flashlamps, high-power LEDs, and integrated illumination sub-systems. AEA Investors LP acquired Excelitas from Veritas Capital and now owns the company as a portfolio holding. Hybrid Electronics stocks and sources Excelitas photonic components, including legacy PerkinElmer- and EG&G-branded detectors and flashlamps that are no longer in active production.
