Distributor of Erie Technology components. Send us your RFQ — we'll match your part numbers to stock or source them.
Erie Technological Products, Inc. - which traded for many years as Erie Resistor Corporation - was founded in 1929 in Erie, Pennsylvania and became a major American maker of resistors, ceramic capacitors, multilayer monolithic ceramic components, EMI and RF filters and related devices. The company operated international divisions, including Erie Electronics in the United Kingdom, which it sold to ITT in 1975. Murata Manufacturing acquired the whole of Erie Technological Products in 1980, gaining manufacturing and sales bases across North America, Europe and Latin America in a single step, and the business traded afterwards as Murata Erie North America. The Erie ceramic capacitor heritage is now part of Murata's passive component operations.
