Curtis Instruments was founded in 1960 in Mt. Kisco, New York. The first Curtis products were electrochemical elapsed time indicators (ETIs). Their accuracy, reliability and ultra-low power consumption quickly made them the choice for recording use-time of diverse equipment. NASA built these Curtis ETIs into every major electronic system of Lunar Landing Modules, starting with the first moon landing in 1969.
Today, Curtis provides a wide range of instrumentation, controls, and integrated systems for all types of applications.
The types of products manufactured by Curtis Instruments include Motor Controllers, Programmable Instrumentation, Hour Meters, Battery Discharge Indicators, DC/DC Converters, Battery Chargers, Warning Devices, Input Devices, and DC Contactors.
